HY212 and HY214 are Maleic modified abietic resin with light color and good stability. Theyt are produced with rosin and unsatu-rated polybasic acids. They can be used for phenolic lacquer, polyester and nitrolacquer.

Properties:
1. stable color, no yellowing; good thermal stability and high adhesive force.
2. soluble in coal tar oil, esters and turpentine; insoluble in alcohols and vegetable oil.
3. good miscibility with various high polymers.
Use:
1. for paints and coating industries.
2. for hotmelt adhesives.
3. for photogravure ink。
